Name: Tandie Bailey

How long have you been riding? Since I was 18– my brother worked for Progressive Trail Design back then and helped build the DJ Park and Phase1 of Slaughter Pen around 2008; he’d hang out up there and ride, I wanted to be a part of that. Around the same time my mom found a rigid 1970’s Schwinn at Goodwill and brought it home for my dad– It wasn’t well received at first, but within a year we all had a bike to ride!

What’s your favorite Oz Trail? Lake Leatherwood in Eureka Springs — with techy singletrack, a DH run and a lake to swim in that spot can take up a full day if you let it.

Camp out or cabin? Camp. Although a night in the converted mail truck my dad built (and subsequently passed down to me, Happy Easter 2013) isn’t exactly roughing it; solar panels & a little fridge provide some pretty solid creature comforts.

Tire size? 27.5 is currently the only way. To be fair, I keep thinking maybe a 29er…but that thought doesn’t usually last long.

Dream place to ride outside of Arkansas? Fruita, CO is pretty rad, but I still really want to get my bike up to the Pacific Northwest!
