Blowing Springs Park in Bella Vista, Arkansas, has many amenities: hiking/biking trails, a 3-mile paved greenway, a pump track, and camping sites. What you may not know about is a dog-friendly beer garden hidden in the park! Gear Garden is the perfect stop to enjoy an ice cold beverage, shade, or even the cold spring on a hot summer day.

Gear Garden (located at 948 Blowing Spring Rd, Bella Vista, AR 72714) offers snacks like shell-on roasted peanuts, organic trail mix, and Life and Kind bars. All of their alcoholic beers and ciders are on draft, and there’s also a selection of N/A beers (Athletic Brewing) and canned seltzers. Fun fact: Gear Garden partnered with Bentonville Brewing to make a special beer for their location. It’s called Trailhead Lager, which is now the second leading draft seller throughout the Bella Vista POA! “Gear Garden is the perfect place to shred your gear and drink your beer!” Mark M. said.

“We enjoy stopping at the Gear Garden for a cold drink when we’re out on a bike ride,” says guest Chrissy G. “The relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff keep us coming back. It’s the perfect spot for a break in the middle of nature,” she continued.

The Gear Garden is operated seasonally by the Bella Vista Property Owners Association – generally from late March through the end of October Wednesday-Sunday. For the outdoor dining enthusiasts, take advantage of Food Truck Friday (check the Gear Garden Facebook page for the food truck schedule). Needing just a quick drink to get back on the trail? Grab a bottled water, flavored Vitamin Water, Powerade, or a few other offerings. On top of that, enjoy live jazz music every Sunday.
